Types of insects that can ruin the furniture

Insects and insect activities are problems and the enemies of the wooden furniture, so it is important that you are ready for this one. These insects when they infest the surface of the wooden furniture will surely make that surface ugly and can undermine its stability and strength.
One example of the insect that can damage the condition of the wood is the powder-post beetle. This beetle is around less than a quarter inch long and the beetle will lay her eggs in the small crevices. The larvae of the insect can then burrow into the wood and this will then create networks of tunnels as they eat their way along the grain. These holes should be avoided as these don’t look good so it is best to treat the wood properly.
