How To Make Your Own Pillow

This is an easy task to do with as you will only need a basic knowledge of sewing and you'll only need fabric of your choice, and the filling of your choice. The first thing to do is to cut the fabric to your desired size giving it a few centimeters of allowance for the stitches.

After you have the two fabric pieces cut into the desired length, take out the sewing tools and sew the two pieces together all around leaving about 8 inches open. After that, it's time to stuff your pillow with your filling. It could be down feathers, polyester filling, or pillow form. With that done, you can sew the fabric all around and that's pretty much it.

This comes from the idea that a room will look more inviting if furniture pieces are arranged in such a way that one point is the center of attention. Do-It-Yourself. This is not only for people looking to save a few bucks on home decoration. This is also for people looking to express their artistic side. In home decoration, a lot of people would just buy furniture pieces and fixtures since it is usually easier to do.
