When moving a wooden piece of furniture, you need first to check a few things like making sure that there is no loose joinery in the furniture. Once the road is clear, make sure that you remove some furniture elements if there are any. Some of the furniture elements that you should take out include the doors, drawers and the shelves. The removal of these elements will make sure that the movement of the furniture will be easy from one point of the room to the next. If the doors cannot be removed from the piece, then make sure that you secure the doors by locking and wrapping the case with the use of soft cotton straps. If the room tables will be moved, make sure that the tables will be lifted by the apron or the legs, rather than lifting these tables by the top.
