You may have a cottage that you use for vacations. That is the place where you and your family spend time together during the spring. And did you know that decorating your cottage is easy and will not always need you to shed large amount of money. For your old cottage furniture, you can augment its looks simple by adding simple slipcovers out of canvas; canvas because this is a strong fabric and are easy to wash. You can also make pillows out of vintage curtains and fabric remnants. For the flooring, you can jazz it up by adding up large area rugs. You may have area rugs at home that you are not using or you can get cheap area rugs fro your local thrift stores. If you have small area rugs at home, you can stitch them all up to form the large area rugs that you need. An old basket can be turned into a great centerpiece on your dining table. Just spray paint it with a light green color; then rub it with some steel wool and you get a vintage look. Then put in on the center of the table, fill it with fresh fruits. And viola!
